The over 80 Mini-Retreats I share in The Mini-Retreat Solution, are just the beginning. There are many more ways to relax and refresh anywhere and anytime throughout the day.
Please share your favourite ways to relax quickly with the Mini-Retreat Community and check out other readers’ ideas.
I am one of the lucky ones who work from a home office. My cat Mr. Grimsby is my constant companion. One of my very favourite Mini-Retreats is to bury my nose in his fur and feel the rumbles in his body as he purrs. Of course, he only tolerates that for a few seconds, so I spend the rest of my down time chasing him around the house to get another cuddle!
Thanks for sharing, Phyllis! Cats have such a relaxed energy about them, I agree.
I am friends with my neighbour’s cats, Lilly and Onyx. Everytime I leave my home at least one of them comes running towards me and demands some attention. When I feel the friendly purr on my leg, I immediately relax.
If I get to work early in my car that is nice and cozy and warm and its a rainy day, I like to recline my seat back and turn off the engine and watch the raindrops slowly blur out my view and make beautiful abstract art with the lights and scenery in front of me. I find the picture is always changing with every raindrop and it relaxes me.
